Awesome video, …
Awesome video, wyatt.
I have a proposal: give people in poverty 5 years to pull themselves up. If they can, zero taxes for them until they die. If they can’t too bad, no more money for smokes and drinks. I bet you 95% of the poor people would jump the hurdle.

Thanks Wyatt. As I …
Thanks Wyatt. As I said, great vid.

You’re a …
You’re a idiot. The second amendment doesn’t say that guns are for defending yourself from criminals, murderers, rapists, thieves, and foreign invaders. That doesn’t mean that they aren’t. Providing for the common defense is exactly what we’re doing today. If you don’t like it, go move to Iran.

I believe you’re on …
I believe you’re on the right track. Gov. will always pursue its own agenda, regardless of the good it perceives it is doing, and most often in spite of the larger harm that results from its interference in the individuals own pursuits. Gov. has always lead us down the primrose path with promises of milk and honey, only to find and vinegar.
bbburton @ 1:00 pm
Your correct about …
Your correct about uniformity; everyone to get the same number of grains of rice in their bowl. But gov. has never promoted equality, just the illusion of caring. I just do not believe gov. can or will nurture the individual. First, it is not the job of gov. to nurture individual hopes and dreams. Second, the Constitution gives the individual the power to pursue their own happiness.
wyattmcintyre @ 1:00 pm
It can’t be through …
It can’t be through big government but has to be promoted through a greater sense of individual right and responsibilities, and through less government breeding more opportunity. My experience tells me that government does not lift all to the same level, but lowers them to the same point. If we want to uplift the individual you are right, it has to be done with more liberty and freedom, more control over our own destiny.
wyattmcintyre @ 1:00 pm
Burton, I actually …
Burton, I actually talk about this now and then, the idea of uniformity versus equality. Government, more often than not, does not promote equality but rather a sense of uniformity as if to say the two are the same or at least mutually inclusive. This is not the case, each person is unique, with individual hopes and dreams, and that must be nurtured.

If we examined the …
If we examined the source of most problems each of us face, its because of excessive government interference. I’m not poor because I don’t work, I’m poor because the government steals from me. I don’t have health insurance because the government steals from me. I don’t feel safe because my government is stealing from everyone else around the world. Opportunity creates itself, government just stifles it.

Hi Wyatt. This is …
Hi Wyatt. This is what I’ve been riling at all along. At my age and experience, the only worthwhile lesson I’ve come to wholeheartedly believe is that my government has never had my best interests at heart. Government operates on group think; what’s best for the group. This can only be accomplished by eliminating individual liberty. This is too high a price as far as I’m concerned.
wyattmcintyre @ 1:00 pm
The people that pay …
The people that pay the price are those who were sold on the idea that the government can solve their problems, the government can give them a better life. It is sad and we see the cost in the cycle of poverty that goes forward generation after generation. It’s time to focus on creating more opportunity, not more government.
wyattmcintyre @ 1:00 pm
Hi Burton glad to …
Hi Burton glad to see you are back, and glad to see we are a little more closely aligned from the start on this one! You are right, bureaucrats are going to be the ruin of the country if we don’t keep them in check. We keep building program after program and yet we find it is unable to deal with problem after problem, but we don’t get the picture.
wyattmcintyre @ 1:00 pm
and an economy that …
and an economy that encourages growth and we can’t keep doing that if we drive a bulldoozer of bureaucracy over the people. Thanks again my friend.
wyattmcintyre @ 1:00 pm
Thank you Lonnie …
Thank you Lonnie for your great comments. You are right the tax burden is too high and it just keeps getting higher and higher. The simple reality of the matter is people are not going to have the incentive to work hard towards their dreams if the government keeps picking their pockets clean. We need less taxes, less government and more opportunities for the individual. We need to build a better, stronger education system,
wyattmcintyre @ 1:00 pm
Thank you for that …
Thank you for that great commet L.L., we all need to lay hold of our dreams, keep them close to us and never let them go, working hard so that we might achieve them. Perhaps we might not achieve them today or tomorrow but their is limitless possibilities for the soul that keeps hope alive and never gives up.
wyattmcintyre @ 1:00 pm
Thank you
Thank you

Thank you my friend!

Thank you for the …
Thank you for the great comments and the great points throughout, it is appreciated. If we want people to rise above we need to lower the tax burden we expect them to take up and we need to reform the government to ensure that what we have helps those who really and sincerely are in need and helps get people who might otherwise not have opportunities work towards a greater sense of prosperity though a hand up not a hand out.
wyattmcintyre @ 1:00 pm
Thank you! Good to …
. I learned a while not to debate on some of these things because sometimes as hard as you do some people are not going to listen to what you say. You move on and you discuss with people who want to have a serious discourse. You are a good man
Thank you! Good to see you and others are still here to watch and support me
wyattmcintyre @ 1:00 pm
Thank you my friend …
Thank you my friend, I appreciate you and your support, it means a lot to me. I am glad you liked it and agree that we need new, strong solutions for the future!
bbburton @ 1:00 pm
Not bad. The adage …
Not bad. The adage that the government that governs least, governs best says it all. Bureaucrats will ruin this country if given half a chance. I would rather make a fool of myself than let someone else make an out of both of us. Our current government is the most corrupt and wasteful monolith ever created, and will ruin us all if not stopped.
ConservativeVoiceUSA @ 1:00 pm
Also we do have to …
Also we do have to realize that there are people who do live in poverty. They need a education to get out and better them selves. School vouchers are the answer. The democrat party are keeping those in poverty from getting an education by forcing them to go to violent and drug infested schools. All they want is their vote for keeping them there.
ConservativeVoiceUSA @ 1:00 pm
Awesome video Wyatt …
Awesome video Wyatt. The tax burden in this country is to high. I cant tell you how many times I have heard “Why should I work overtime the goverment is jusst going to take it?” I dont think the libs understand about being over taxed. They want the goverment to run their live for them. Hell, you can get that in Cuba. They should row a boat over there.

Your confused …
Your confused between grants and loans. Grants are free money…loans you pay back usually with interest
stardestroyerjedi @ 1:00 pm
Not all grants but …
Not all grants but you keep believing that.
mrfreddaltonthompson @ 1:00 pm
pell grants are …
pell grants are designated for poor people to get a higher education. That is a handout for the poor. If you can’t see that i’m waisting me time with you.
