Dionne Warwick launches World Hunger Day. Empowering People. Ending Hunger, which will take place on January 9th, 2011 in the UK. The announcement was made from The Apollo Victoria Theatre in London, where a star-studded concert will be given by Dionne Warwick and Friends in support of The Hunger Project on World Hunger Day.

Preliminary details of an international conference, to be held in London on the same day were also announced.
